GRAINITY PROJECT SATELLITE SYMPOSIUM:
Nordic experience and approaches on using grains for health

GRAINITY - Wholegrain, rye and oats, the Nordic opportunity - is a project financed by Nordic Innovation Centre as part of the functional foods focus area in 2006-2008. The objective is to provide a scientific discussion forum and platform to assist in development of healthy rye and oat based foods, and to discuss related nutrition communication as well as their role in the dietary strategies. In this satellite symposium experiences and research results of the consortium are featured both from a scientific and application points of view.
